Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service: your email address, the charting-platform username you submit for products delivered that way, and your subscription status. Payment details, including card numbers, are collected and processed by Stripe and never reach our systems.

AlphaPine products that run in your browser need you to sign in, which creates an account keyed to your email address. We never collect or store a password: signing in sends a single-use link to your address instead. For those products we also keep a record of your account, your plan, and the sign-in sessions attached to it.

2. How we use it

We use your data to activate and manage access, keep you signed in to the products that need an account, process billing through Stripe, respond to support requests, and send essential service messages such as receipts, renewal notices, and access updates. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use no advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other sites. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domains.

Where an AlphaPine product needs you to sign in, we set one cookie to keep that session — it holds no personal data beyond the session itself, and signing out deletes it. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without profiling individual visitors; its measurement script is loaded from Cloudflare, so opening a page makes that one request outside our own domains. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies on its own hosted checkout and billing pages, under Stripe's policies.

4. Data kept in your own browser

Some AlphaPine products keep your working records — for example the trades and notes you enter — in your own browser rather than on our servers. That data stays on your device, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser storage deletes it.

Where a product offers to sync that data between your devices, it is encrypted in your browser before it is sent, and we store it only in that encrypted form. We hold no key that can read it. Sync is always optional and off unless you turn it on.

5. Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service. Stripe processes payments and provides the billing portal. Cloudflare hosts the website and provides content delivery and security, and may process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device metadata, and request logs. We also use an email provider for support and service messages. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy and applicable data-protection law.

6. Retention

We keep subscription records while your subscription is active and for as long as we need them to meet accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time, and we will do so except where we are legally required to keep it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing support@alphapinelab.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we change providers or how the Service works. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date shown at the foot of this page. Continuing to use the website or the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
